 Scots are generally known for drinking a lot and it seems that their drinking habits hits the headlines for all the wrong reasons. But, do NOT believe them. Scotland is one of the best places where you can enjoy your drink- let it be beer, whisky or brandy. You can spot fun-loving and cheerful groups in literally every bar in Scotland. Certain things that you will have to keep in mind
- Take heed not to whistle at a bar person. It is mostly considered offensive by the staff as well as the customers.
- If you catch site of people waiting in the bar in an orderly fashion, then do not push past them. You wouldn't like to be offensive to people who are convivial to you, right!
- A funny and traditional drinking habit of drinking in rounds is that if someone offers you a drink ,then you will be expected to do the same without saying. Accepting a drink in a round and not offering it back is considered an offence in most cases.
